Are you at risk for any occupational hazard?

Mr. Chean At is a foreigner who works in a steel factory. He was recommended to Dr. Peter Chong two weeks after a neglected occupational hazard, where the right side of his face was struck with a long metal piece, traversing across his right eye. During consultation, he was in deep pain and was almost blind. A diagnosis of phacolytic glaucoma with traumatic white cataract and vitreous prolapse was made.

He was treated aggressively and underwent a successful cataract surgery. He regained his vision and resumed work just two weeks after the surgery.

We would like to take this opportunity to advise all construction workers to wear protective eyewear at all times. Cherish your healthy eyes at all times!
